Greetings in the name of Jesus!

We are thrilled that you found our Mountain View Church website so we can share a bit about who we are.

In the descriptive words of our members, we are “welcoming, caring, friendly, resilient, true to God’s Word, gifted with talent, eager to serve, family-oriented, balance of all ages, lots of children and youth.”

We believe that God, who is Truth, has infallibly inspired the Old and New Testaments as a revelation of Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world; and that the Church is a family of believers who because they are connected to Jesus, are connected to one another for the express purpose of putting Jesus on display in this world.

We are excited about our adult and youth worship teams, adult discipleship courses, Wednesday night Bible studies, children and youth ministries, expanding outreach through our campground facilities, and effective Vacation Bible School experiences.

We are a resilient congregation because we anchor our hope in Christ Jesus and the truth of Scripture, which continually call us back to the cross, to repentance that leads us to a ministry of reconciliation.

We are in a season of clarifying our mission and vision in order to position ourselves for a Gospel-focused outreach to our community. Pastor Bruce Hankee is leading us through this transitional time of preparation that will lead to calling a new Senior Pastor to join our leadership team.
